This uniquely designed Passion crucifix portrays the instruments of Christ's Passion surrounding his cross. The spear symbolizes the lance that pierced Jesus' side, while the staff with sponge represents the wine offered to him before he died. The ladder was used to take down Jesus? body from the cross. The two spears crossed at the bottom of the cross symbolize Christ's sufferings at the hands of sinners. The twin branches coming from the foot of the cross symbolize the Tree of Life, which was closed off to Adam and Eve after the fall, but restored through the suffering of Christ on the cross. - Resin/Metal
